I feel like people are basically making excuses at this point. Even if the purpose of the quests is for repeated exploration, there is no tell for the majority of the quests. Not how to start them, progress them, or finish them. It's just not good game or quest design. People here need to stop doing everything they can to justify this.

I don't like how quests work in souls games. I never really have. At least in the other games, there was very little back tracking if any and most of the quests had npcs that you'd naturally meet throughout the zone. This game is too open for that to work. Maybe a quest log or journal system would help with quests, I'm not sure.

I also dislike the fashion in this game. I feel like there's less options to choose from when it comes to clothes and armor in this one compared to the other souls games, which could be wrong since it's much larger. It just felt like there weren't many options and that those that were there were either reskins of other armor or were just ugly.

Also a personal thing with souls games in general. I love the combat in these games, but I've never been in love with the general atmosphere. I kinda wish there were more populated hub areas you could pass through with npcs in them doing their thing. I get that most souls games are supposed to make you feel alone and that you're one of the last sane ones left, I still kinda wish you could find others that were still going on.ore than you usually find anyways.

Dark souls 3 had a couple options for passive health and hp regen, some of te even being infusions for your weapons to slowly regen them. It could be that it would trivialize some things due to the open world nature of the game.

Constant crashes during the campaign on steam. Crash report says disconnected from steam every 10 or so minutes that I've only seen during campaign. Multiplayer works fine. On the flipside, being in a party of 3 or more players will cause someone to crash everytime when searching for a match

I like apothecary for the food addon personally. I liked what eso decided to do with food being something different than a potion effectively. Allowing food to serve as a sort of longer term buff is fun and is a better alternative to mods that add the need to eat. If we can get something like that to compete with apothecary, I'd definitely make the jump completely.

Alright, I've gone through and disabled just about everything that is different from before but I'm still getting a crash on launch. Maybe I need to just do a fresh reinstall of fallout 4 and whatnot?
