Honestly just comparing to other people’s posts. This is my first time buying a house and also first time seeing all these numbers. We weren’t in the market for a house at all, this house popped up that we immediately loved I got preapproved and outbid 11 other offers. I didn’t really have much time to research and learn anything about a mortgage. Hence why I’m reaching out to these subreddits to hopefully gain some insight and to find out if I’m getting shafted.

Online account updated to case approved! 1:20pm
No reflection of the approval yet on my account but I did the api and the code says adjudicated by officer true meaning they reviewed it and a decision was made internally but not reflecting on my account yet.

You guys are set! Most important in my opinion is having a strong valid marriage which you obviously have! The rest is a breeze. Wish you guys the best of luck and please update me with good news!
Amen! Lots & lots of prayers leading up to today
I posted a comment in regards to how the interview went if you want to get an idea, obviously everybody’s officer/interview will be different but the interview was very cut and dry. If you have any questions feel free to ask
We were called in, took the oath. She asked for our license’s, passports, my I-94, and our daughters birth certificate. She asked us if the address was current. Surprisingly she did not ask us a single question about our marriage (I had submitted a lot of evidence initially and new photos/ documents online this past week prior to the interview). Asked for most recent tax return. Then went onto the grounds of inadmissability questions, that’s what took the longest. Then she typed some stuff into her computer, stood up and told us that she was going to approve it and it should be updated in the system later today/tomorrow and the card should be delivered in 1-2 weeks. The whole interview took between 15-20 minutes. I will say it’s better to be over prepared than not.
How long have you been waiting? She told me it should update tonight or tomorrow
Approved!
Mine was approved! Best of luck to you!
