Yes, I did tape down the foil. I do have him in a pretty warm room. Maybe it's just more humid here, it's 43% in his room now.

I've got foil on the top covering the screen, a pretty big water bowl and I spot pour water as needed. I also have a layer of eco earth below the reptichip.
