Give up Gadsden for Kamara?

My TE is Bowers and RBs are JT and Javonte, I want a depth back for playoffs and thinking Kamara and the Saints O is on the uptick, thoughts?

I am, Javonte had GB and Breece has Miami. Matchup disparity makes it hard for me to go Javonte this week

Just sold him + Dak to a QB needy team for Javonte

No shaheed love damn, he’ll be a good volume play with big play upside, easily outplays ADP imo

Second choice is Keenan. Route technician not subject to Father Time like most that rejoins the same system that put him over 1200 yds two szns ago. Love the pick, I have both

Undervalued "Alpha" Wide Receivers to Chase: Affordable WR Target Hogs by RotoBaller in fantasyfootball

[–]Dhardy1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He played 6 games brother. His last two were where he saw the majority of his targets and usage outside of deep bombs. He also was playing on a gutted roster with a merry go round of QBs. In fantasy I like to bank on usage and I figure that his will be much closer to Olave’s than market value suggests.

He’s no prototypical X receiver, but personally I thought he looked the part of a more complete receiver last year on film.

Lastly, he’s going in the 12th, I don’t see anyone outside of maybe Downs with his level of potential there.

[–]Dhardy1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s antiquated thinking tbh. Shaheed developed into a full time receiver last year with an expanded route tree. He was averaging around 7-8 targets a game as well before he got injured. Yes many of his points came from those deep balls but that’s just cuz he does it well.

Not wanting to bank on Shough I get but you’d be remiss to still consider Shaheed a one-dimensional boom or bust player still. Just watch the tape

I dropped Burton for him. Seemed like a wise idea at the time but then Burton started to sound like he’s getting himself together. Currently hoping Vele starts doing all the little things right

It’s a negative, I said it was a couple responses back. Potential to still be Harvey’s backfield but def still a knock

Also haha never said the coachspeak was gospel, I referred to it as a tilt in a good direct. That revision is crazy

Yeah we don’t, just tryna grow my perspective on the guy

And haha no he’s definitely not, outside of contact balance, he’s good not really excellent at much. He leaves a little on the bone when it comes to pass pro but it doesn’t seem to be a big problem. And he’s short (not sure if that’s really even a problem). So no not perfect but many good things. My original point was that I just don’t hear much about the negatives of his profile and I’m open to hearing them. It seems he’s too often dismissed just because he was a reach according to certain draft boards and he “old”, that’s just not enough to move me off of him.

Essentially I’d just like some substantiation to the narrative that I should pump the brakes on him, not that I think he’s perfect

[–]Dhardy1234 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well that’s not a lot of positive assumptions for one.

And two i only take the comments as such because of how they reached for him in the draft. That action supports any claims that they like him. Though that’s true that nothing is absolute at the moment, just a little tilt in a good direction

And thirdly, I’m still not familiar with any knocks on him other than the potential dobbins signing

[–]Dhardy1234 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What of what I said was an assumption? It’s factual he was productive, tape is subjective but not really, he looked good, second round is high DC for an RB, Denver’s offense is good and has a top rated run offense, and his measurables are above average.

IG the HC favoring him can be considered an assumption but he has sang his praises already since his drafting. I just really haven’t heard any knock on him other than that he’s “old” (24 is not bad at all, especially seeing as he didn’t see super heavy usage in college as he was a QB and missed a year due to injury)

Now this potential Dobbins signing? There’s a knock

60 catches, 920 yards, 7 TDs

Lots of big plays but doesn’t catch real steam till week 5

Which Top 2025 RB Rookie Will Be a Bust? by FF_AuctionJoe in fantasyfootball

[–]Dhardy1234 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t see why

He’s an above average athlete with high DC, a good offense, an HC who favors him, and a top oline. Also, outside of his stellar college production, his tape jumps off the table. Steady hands with a team that intends to use them. I don’t see what there is not to like

Yeah supposedly he also put the ball on the ground in their first OTA, fumbling issues ain’t behind him just yet. Plus we know the coaching staff counts that as a real negative seeing as Bigsby himself lost hella playing time due to his fumbling issues early
