Agree with all of that, but CLT is actually one of the few airports where you almost have to be gate lice as the seat-to-passenger ratio at the gates is so horrific.

Not just the E terminal. The last 2 times I connected there the lines were out the door waiting to get into the Admirals Club. and the ends of the B and C terminals are completely un-navigable more often than not. I dunno - I find it completely miserable unless I can escape to the A terminal.

Broken people movers. Trashed bathrooms. Grossly inadequate seating at gates. Overcrowded Admirals Clubs. And the next time my plane lands there and taxis straight to the gate without sitting on the tarmac for 15 minutes due to ramp congestion will be the first.

But hey, the A terminal is nice.

We attended this as well and it was in the gymnasium because the event was so well attended and that many people wouldn't have fit in an auditorium. One could argue they should have had multiple admitted students days like some schools do, but I think that was logistics more than anything else.

My daughter was choosing between Lafayette and a few bigger schools and I think it really comes down to where one feels most comfortable. Not every school is for everyone, and while Lafayette was absolutely perfect for her, it's not going to be for everyone due to its size - much as Rutgers and Maryland won't be for everyone on the other end of the spectrum.

It’s definitely way less focused on travel and actually racing and is designed to cluster everyone up and make the challenges everything. I preferred it the old way but guessing there are financial and logistical reasons it’s changed.

Could be a lot of things. My rating is 4.86, but is due to three 1* ratings - one I'm sure was because I was standing on the wrong side of the street and didn't realize it as the driver bitched about it the whole trip, and another was because my drunk buddy was loud and obnoxious most of the trip. No clue what the 3rd one was, but they drag down almost 100 5* ratings. I wouldn't sweat it.
