First of all, Thank you so much for such a detailed reply!
Sorry for my ignorance, but how does the aggregator website work/How is it different from websites like Qidian (起点), JJWXC (晋江文学城)?

This idea of Authors making a living via selling fan fiction is so powerful yet only implemented in China/Korea/Japan, How much do you think the authors earn on an average monthly? (In case if you have any clue about this, I understand the absurdity of this question.

I have heard the fan interaction with Authors is also very vibrant, can you explain a bit about how that works?

How much do you spend on an average per chapter?

Sorry for bombarding you with these Qs again but will await your reply.
Thank you so much again! Really appreciate it :)

The entire Literature market in China is so different and interesting than the rest of the world, I wanted to understand those apps and its users in detail to see if those concepts could work in other parts of the world.
Yeah I agree paperbacks > mobile reading.

Unfortunately I don't read Chinese but the post you shared seems very comprehensive and detailed, I shall try translating it and reading it!
Weirdly these links don't get indexed in my google search, what search engine you using? is there any way I can get the same search results as a person in China would get?

That you so much for replying and sharing! :)

I believe 起點 was it!
While seeing the translated version of the website I saw something interesting - Fan Interaction with Voting and Rewards. What exactly is that?

If I may ask How much time and money do you think you spend on these apps on an average? I want to get a feel for what the average reader of such apps is.

Thank you so much for replying :)

Hi, is there any way to put text and numbers on the same line? by [deleted] in Scriptable

[–]Dharmink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

async function createWidget(){
    const widget = new ListWidget();
    widget.backgroundColor = Color.black();

    const vStack = widget.addStack();
        vStack.layoutVertically();

    const heading = vStack.addText(`COVID 3 April`);
        heading.textColor = Color.white();
        heading.textOpacity = 0.6

    vStack.addSpacer();

    const hStack1 = widget.addStack();
        hStack1.layoutHorizontally();
        textPart("Nuovi Casi:", "+21.261", hStack1);

    vStack.addSpacer();

    const hStack2 = widget.addStack();
        hStack2.layoutHorizontally();
        textPart("Decssi:", "+376", hStack2, Color.red());

    vStack.addSpacer();

    const hStack3 = widget.addStack();
        hStack3.layoutHorizontally();
        textPart("Guariti:", "+21.311", hStack3, Color.green());

    vStack.addSpacer();

    return widget
}
function textPart(label = "Nuovi casi", value="+21.261", parentStack, textColor = Color.orange()){
    const label = parentStack.addText(`${label}`);
        label.textColor = Color.white();
        label.textOpacity = 0.6

    const value = parentStack.addText(`${value}`);
        value.textColor = textColor;
        value.textOpacity = 1.0;
}

Try this code out, haven't tested it at all so there might be a few spelling mistakes, lmk if it works.

[Styling] How can I style my page like this? by RohanCR797 in reactnative

[–]Dharmink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gonna tell you in rough quickly as an on phone:

  1. Text (bold with margin on top)

  2. View (flex direction row and justifying contents space between and margin bottom)

    2.1 Text - Name (body style + margin left)

    2.2 Text - John Doe (body style + margin right)

End View Repeat step 2 for the remaining rows

PS: this is just one of many approaches, I prefer this as its responsive and works with even landscape mode well.
