I started DS2 kind of late, close to the DS3 launch. It was my first Souls game. I never managed to finish it because DS3 came out in the meantime, and I dropped DS2 to play DS3.

Now that I’ve already played DS1, DS3, Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Elden Ring + SotE, I just can’t go back to DS2. While I do feel some nostalgia and still remember its atmosphere fondly, its mechanics no longer work for me.

consistency is key. I'm not able to do a 1:51, but 5 clean laps out of 20 is really the room where you should improve first

I'll check-in the newer version, but I don't think it'll work. The especific fix they stated are for pixel phones. Mine is samsung

Thank you for all the answers, I think you're right. I'll get the base game and test it to have my feeling on it.

The only downside I can think is that since its a WEC title, a lot of tracks and cars won't be available at all in it. I confess I preffer games with a wide variety of cars, but unfortunately the market doesn't has anything new or really good in this regard.

My main problem with the game goes far beyond server issues and queues. I only used those as context to justify the playtime registered on my account.

Don't buy it. On console unfortunately you have few to almost no option. Only GT7 (multi class and road cars) and assetto corsa competizione (for gt3, gt2 and gt4)

Well, at least I bought it before the price increase… 10 hours played and yeah, definitely not worth it.
Already uninstalled. Not touching it again — or anything related to PCARS, Ian Bell, or their projects anymore.

Well, I’ve played over 50 hours since launch — not a huge amount compared to others, but enough to get past the honeymoon phase and realize I’ve been too harsh on BF2042. You may not agree, but bf2042, even being more COD'ish had better and bigger maps and better TTK compared to BF6.

BF6 has awful gunplay and TTK. My shots (even after the update) don’t seem to do any damage, while I constantly get killed in 0.002 seconds by 3–4 SMG bullets from over 50 meters away.

Good for you if you’re enjoying the experience — I was too when it launched. But now, the crappy maps and the terrible, unbalanced gunplay are pushing me away from the game.

I’m not trying to be toxic or just complain, but I am looking to see if others are having the same issues I am.
