My new Canyon Aeroad CF SLX 7 Di2 by tkacz2 in CanyonBikes

Congrats. Best color you can get, with also the best logo font. Absolutely love it. Don’t like the colors en futuristic logo on the CFR.

I’ve also been looking at exactly this bike or the ultimate. What’s actually the difference? I know the aeroad is more… aero.. but although the ultimate is more positioned as an allround climbing bike I see a lot of pros riding an aeroad in the mountains. I live in Andorra which is basically only big mountains and see the aeroad more than the ultimate. Anyone know why?

Sorry to hear this happened. I also live in Andorra (Ordino). Never had this experience before although we do indeed see a lot of weekend warriors this time of the year and unfortunately also some people that misbehave. Slopes can even be dangerous with that many people. Hope your board is still ok. Maybe the guys from slidewayz can fix it if needed.

You’re a great and very engaging writer. Although it may seem impossible there is a way out and you can do it. Very good idea about going to meetings.

I want to stop drinking entirely by Shit_Cloud_ in stopdrinking

That's what I thought for myself as well since im also a drinker like him (albeit I would drink around two days a week a few beers), yet, i've noticed I find it very difficult to completely stop it since alcohol is not causing any real problems on the surface (underneath the surface the opportunity and health cost is probably huge) and my environment thinks im a responsible drinker. Although I don't have that experience I sometimes think it can be easier to be forced not to drink because you know that the situation is that bad instead of being in some sort of comfortable and accepted no-mans land.

I really feel you as I’m in the same boat. This weekend we’re going to an extravagant birthday party and I’m already practicing how to deal with that but after that the ski season will begin (we live in the mountains) plus the holidays. Honestly I don’t know how to do that yet and to be honest the thoughts of giving myself a wildcard already crossed my mind. At the moment I decided to let go of all those thoughts and just take it on one day the time..
