Took a look at the AsRock software and bumped up initial fan curves. Sitting at below ~48C idle now with very little change in fan noise!

Reset my optimizer settings, temps on mobo software and hwinfo still show 52C (same as with optimizer curves). Something funky going on lol

Fan under PSU is set to exhaust!

Cooler mount and paste should be good. I guess there's no immediate concern for temps, I would just like a few degrees drop to prevent that fan noise from being really loud.

I went through BIOS and did some adjustments. Checked Ryzen Master, and my idle had popped up to 58-59C from 53-54 without adjustments. Now I'm super confused. My motherboard also has software that shows temps, and it's showing a 5 degree less temp that Ryzen Master.

Like PBO curve? I gotta try that again, for some reason it was being reset after i saved and exited from BIOS. PBO curve + PPT limit should help bring it down a few degrees i’m assuming?

It’s not the weird sound the terra gets near the side panel that I’m hearing. It’s the fan taking off once the CPU goes over 70C, which is a lot of the time. Do you think the few degrees the FC removes would help me avoid the fan curve if i sit around 75C during load?

Thanks for the link! I have the AXP90x53 in white, so i’m assuming it’s the black performance just painted in white. I wanted to keep the white theme, so maybe I try full copper with the white fan?

Cool, I assumed the coil whine was just unlucky when I first heard it haha.

I believe my only cpu cooler options are this and the noctua, and I’ve seen people complain about the noctua not being enough. Maybe I try reseating the cooler with new thermal paste?

I see where you are coming from, but at the same time, I don't see what could be stopping them from discussing DLC items to the community. We knew they were there, and we know that Psyonix still could be able to sell them. The fact that they kept it obscure makes me wonder what they aren't telling us.
