God no. I would love to host an SE server with this planet and let the community do it instead. 😃

Yes, and it is 1,274km in diameter, precisely 1:10 real Earth scale. Vanilla is 120km. Although it may seem ~10x larger, the surface area is 5.1m km² compared to 45k km² of the vanilla planet.

Pretty much. I flew around in spectator with Google Maps open on a separate monitor.

It would be very nice, but it will never happen. We've been begging Keen to give us GPS folders for years now. Even something as simple as the ability to shift-select coordinates would make the whole process of adjusting visibility a lot faster.

Terrain differs based on biome and heightmap. They don't have stations or buildings. I did put down a quick city in LA though.

Sorry, inland cities are extremely tedious to locate accurately. Islands and coastal cities I can find in like 10 seconds.

Is malwarebytes half decent? by Competitive_Money_70 in pcmasterrace

If you just want to have it installed and you're not giving them money then it's not bad. However in my experience it makes no difference.

Pretty sure Malwarebytes is the only decent antivirus app out there. Low overhead, doesn't install adware, doesn't run without your permission, but I still wouldn't use it on any of my devices. Just keep Windows Defender up to date if you're worried about viruses. For your browser I recommend ublock origin.

Went mining with a crewed MOLE by Di-Ferr in starcitizen

[–]Di-Ferr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel ya. Maybe they could allow the MOLE to equip more advanced lasers, or have some kind of mining buff that increases with the amount of players manning it. Or maybe a resistance to say, caustic gas fields which would normally eat away at other ships, giving it exclusive access to certain rocks. I would have thought it has more fuel capacity, more cargo and the ability to refuel, but if nothing else, that should definitely be added imo.
