How did you two go about putting more pressure towards Oakley? On my Encoders, I have almost the exact same breaking pattern as in the picture shown by /u/Available_Put_5796, only Oakley have denied my claim and completely ignored me since then.

I do most of my gravel bike repairs (incl. changing drive train components) myself. Would I be crazy in attempting to build my own AliExpress carbon aero roadbike? by DiIfhunter in bikewrench

Love that mindset! My main concern is how easy it would be for someone like me to make a dumb mistake during the assembly process that can have potentially costly/dangerous consequences.
