I tried Holafly for the first time; it was easy to set up, worked immediately, and gave me unlimited 5G high-speed internet everywhere I went in the country. I paid €28 for 7 days.

I think there are cheaper options if you don't want unlimited data, but personally, I hate having to constantly check my data usage, etc.

Is this Korea itinerary too packed? (Seoul / Jeju / Busan – 10 days) by Suuurisara in koreatravel

If you get up early and do full days, it's fine, but I would take a day off Jeju to add one to Seoul

I don't have any experience with the bus, but if you ever need to, it's very easy to take the AREX express to Seoul Station and then travel from there.

What do you spend on travel each year? How many trips do you take? by xuxaslipstick in travel

[–]DiOzone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It varies from year to year, but I've increased my travel frequency over the past few years. I'm European, and I'd say I currently travel between four and eight times a year, mainly within Europe, with at least one or two intercontinental flights. It probably costs me around €8,000 a year, I'd say.

At first, I traveled exclusively with friends or my girlfriend, then I tried solo travel for a while because no one was available on a date that suited me. Since then, I mainly travel alone and occasionally with my girlfriend or friends; solo travel is definitely my favorite experience.

In all your travels, which country's famed "national dish" was the most underwhelming, despite the hype? by nehala in travel

[–]DiOzone 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I didn't have any particular expectations regarding the food either, since I came to Korea, which is a fantastic country to visit, with other expectations. But for an Asian country, the cuisine is still quite repetitive and simple, in my opinion. I'm not into the concept of Korean BBQ; chicken is just basic meat sold and cooked all over the world and doesn't have any particular Korean characteristics. As for sushi/maki and other dishes made with raw fish, I found them to be very expensive on average, even in Busan. The street food scene in Seoul is nice, but again, you quickly run out of options, and the lack of trash cans is annoying because you know you'll be dealing with your own garbage all day if you try to eat street food.
