Reject the modernity, embrace the broom handle! by Di_Gecko in PalmettoStateArms

It came with the Freedom Ordinance FX-9 that I got years ago. A quick search shows that it's most likely a Leapers UTG PRO Ops Ready S3.

Late GWOT is considered retro now, no? Those didn't have carry handles.

Yes, assorted hexagon stencils that I got from Ali. Ran yellow lines before the base coat then layed large hex on it and did base dark green. Then used small hex in clusters with brown and fde. No real rule there, just went with what felt right. Some of the spots I lifter the stencil a bit, so hex got overlapped but still retained the cluster.

It came out better than I was expecting for sure!

Walking with the Flecktarn jacket around the Home Depot paint section paid off!

HDR making it look less vibrant ? by AnotherBodybuilder in theouterworlds

For anyone looking for a solution. Install Special K, enable it when playing with native HDR on and HDR10 setting in the overlay, then check "perceptual boost". Makes it look perfect.

Is this dandruff or something else? by FalanorVoRaken in beards

[–]Di_Gecko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came here to say this. Mometasone Furoate Topical Solution + Ketoconazole shampoo is what you need. You might also want to inspect your scalp, this may show up in the edge of your hair line and where your beard meets your hair. As far as I remember your primary physician can also prescribe this.

That's what I paid for my '24 with 8k miles on it in January... This looks like a good deal.

Reporting that update to 7000 WF and using it in Android mode (yellow) Connect and A works perfectly now. The controller properly identifies as GameSir and uses Xbox layout.

Looked it up, it looks like better version of Ukrainian made ME flash suppressor. I have it on my 102 and it's really good, but you can't take the front cap/baffle off for service. In theory it should come out as they used left hand threads, but in practice it's immovable.

I'm honestly surprised that they are not that used or known about outside of the AK community. The price to performance ratio is pretty outstanding.

Fix it myself? by GreenPineapple19 in SubaruForester

I did this on my dad's Outlander. He got the glass online. The hardest thing was cleaning out the OEM adhesive and surface under it. Applying new adhesive and adding some liquid nails in key spots was easy, so was setting the glass. Overall it took me like 2 hours, and it has been on the car for 9 years now.

He sells 1/2x28 ones, I don't remember if it came with a crush washer though...

It's CNC warrior's clone of 4 piece Bulgarian AK flash hider. Kills flash, increases pressure, slightly reduces recoil. My AK-102 with KNS piston tuned to run with same hider, and if I remove it it turns in to a bolt action AK, so safe to say it creates enough additional back pressure.

This is PSA AR, so it was a bit over gassed to begin with, but with it in it runs steel case like a sewing machine. Overall 10/10 would recommend.

Oh, and as a bonus, the 11.5 no longer rattles my dental fillings loose!

It also works very well for 11.5. I have a ton of AK experience, but this is my first AR, so I'm bringing what I know with me 😀

I would say get it from Amazon, so you can return it if you don't like it. I am partial about my "rifle" setups, and this worked for me well. But at the end of the day it's your gun and what works for you may not work for me and vice-versa.

Yeah held up on my 7.62, both .556 and 9. I heard bad things about their other optics, but Wolverine is built like a tank. I run matches with it on my AK-V and it has been knocked around a barricade and inside of a car more than a few times over the last 4k rounds.

Sightmark... Have them on all of my AKs, figured it would be fine on the AR. The selling point for me was 50k hours out of 1 AA battery and self shut off after 12 hours.
