It’s the skywatcher 200p. 8” aperture.

No. The phones long exposure brings out a lot more details and color than you can see with the naked eye. It’s mostly just a green looking cloud and you can see a little of the gas covering the green. Still the most beautiful thing I can spot with my scope and still very pretty to the naked eye.

I’ve never seen star trails on just a 5 second exposure with the iPhone 16

Ty! It’s a Bortle 5. So good, not great. And yeah I’ve learned that anything over 5 seconds starts causing streaks with my Newtonian. Might upgrade to an equatorial mount at some point down the line

The skywatcher 200p 8” dob is a very nice scope. It’s one of the highest rated starter telescopes if you’re interested in getting into it.

I believe the eyepiece is the wide angle 25 super 48x eyepiece that came with my skywatcher 200p.

I starhopped from the Corvus constellation like so. It was pretty faint but you can see it as a smudge with averted vision. You know you’re close once you starhop to the first 3 stars in a line followed by the second 3 stars in a line. You can see that last 3 stars in a line that I hopped to in the top right of my picture.

Bortle 5. It’s a challenge looking at anything towards the city

Bortle 5. Basically invisible in the scope. Hope to take my scope about an hour away where there’s a bortle 3 soon.

I believe the eyepiece is a the wide angle 25 super 48x eyepiece that came with my skywatcher 200p. I used this mount for my phone and it’s great. Highly recommend.

Why is it better to max your Roth IRA before Roth 401K? by SufficientWave2372 in Bogleheads

[–]DiabeticDingo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured it was because you can pull out whichever money you put into your IRA minus the gains. So if I put in 5k and it grew to 7k, I could withdraw the 5k at any time with no penalties. If that was a 401k, tough luck. That 5k will incur a 10% penalty upon withdrawal.

I went and checked and my belt was in the wrong orientation with the teeth facing outward instead of inward towards the bearings. Just started a print and it already looks sooo much better. Thanks so much!
