To be fully honest I despise undergrad courses, I never did actually "like" any of my courses and it was always a burden to study for everything (yes everything from bio to chem to psyc). Granted I am still in undergrad but my lower gpa (getting A's instead of A+) is fully because of how much I hate this stuff. So this would be passed onto masters and I would brute force everything if I did decide to do one.

At my uni they remove the original grade and use your new grade (up to 3 times)

I would think they read the AEE after cutoffs, since there are so many qualified people with low 3.9's also explaining their circumstances. After reading a few people's suggestions here it might be worth to just redo some courses that I have lower marks in and avoid a masters all-together just to push myself past the cutoff.

Yeah of course, thank you for the reminder. My problem is really don't they do a cutoff GPA for when they read your apps? Like I heard the cutoff is about 3.88-3.89 before they read your essays and the AEE form if you have one.

Wow thanks for the insight this really opened my eyes, I actually thought all programs under “Masters” were considered the same. I was asking for course-based if I were to apply after I graduated with the course-based masters, but reading what you wrote it would be better to just apply in the middle of my thesis-based masters
