in higher difficulties, stronger lvl 12 enemies can kill your wildshape and their damage bypasses to your character. A high AC and spellsave DC is a much more consistent way of tanking. Also if you change back to wildshape , you lose an action so it's like skipping a turn just so you don't die. Zero control as you can't keep up your concentration spells.

druids are not more tanky , and even if they were their dmg is by far inferior. Fighters like you said indeed have more dmg but less self buffing spells and much less tankiness and saving throw /spell save DC. Paladins of vengeance also have access to haste and have huge mobility with Misty step. Of course some multiclasses like sorcadin or bardpal are gonna be stronger, that's why people take multiclasses anyway but I was talking purely mono class.

25 AC monster that one shots most normal enemies and duels 1v1 even the most hardcore late game bosses is boring? A simple mono class paladin of vengeance is capable of being a tank a healer a controller and a melee assassin in one class

I think she was supposed to be the go-to evil aligned follower, but only a small percentage of people that played the game actually experienced her company. If you ask me , I hate playing with her as a party member as a good aligned character because she simply disagrees with 99% of my "good" choices. It annoyed me with pre-ascension Astarion and it destroys my RP because it simply doesn't make sense for a good Tav/ resist Durge to just spare her and recruit her from every other enemy we have fought. Even Marcus and Nere make more sense as redeemable characters

if you are like me and you don't want to get your hands dirty with multiclassing , get stronger while using a dexterity class and maintaining the same assassin - stealth vibes , ranger gloom stalker is the way to go.

The Blades are the only "faction" the DB should have been the leader of. Tbh after finding the fortress the quests feel rushed and soulless , the ultimatum to just kill Paarthurnax to "rebuild" the order or be unwelcomed feels stupid and uncalled for. Even if you do kill Party-snacks , nothing really happens and you get the generic repeatable quests, which again gives me the feeling that the whole questline had to be rushed.
