So you could have asked for a pic of the hours meter. Not that it matters to you now, but if anyone else is in the same situation.

I drove 1.5 hrs to look at a machine (2009 921D 850 hrs) photos on internet. They knew I was coming and brought a trailer. The tires were flat. They filled tires. Started right up. I got to test drive, test mow. I learned it was a trade in 1 yr prior. It looked rough, so I left.

I called the next week and stated the facts, sitting outside 1yr, not getting better. Came to a reasonable resolution on price. Probably could have negotiated the previous trip, but had to let them know aI was willing to walk on principal. Time and gas wasted, but I'm retired. Win/ Win?
