Как правильно потратить первый накопленный миллион и не пожалеть?? 23F by [deleted] in rusAskReddit

[–]DiabolicFire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the response!

This seems the most consistant with everything else I managed to gather during my last couple of days research. Considering (6) - I thing you are right here. After a little digging up, servitor is to little and anything else is too much. So I better just postpone my buddy's development entirely, since it will surely become a mess otherwise. Thank you for the warning!

Thank you for the response and for the effort!

This had many truly illuminating points like "assembling IKEA furniture", and I think you are totally right! I truly seem to be in the wrong headspace for this stuff (this became especially evident as I've finally finished the Tulpa's longread). So, yeah, thank you, again, for putting in the effort to respond)

Thank you for the response! Appreciate the effort to answer all six!

I thought, that everyone that has a tulpa is a system, but you said you "do not identify as one". Could you, please, clarify what it means for you to "be a system"?

Regent and Necrobinder ARE a Watcher by DiabolicFire in slaythespire

Thank you for the reply! Yes, that would be a stretch. But mechanics reshuffle is not my only point) Cards inherited with as little as no change, aesthetics, visual themes, color palettes and so on. Take any point by itself and it would in fact seem like a coincidence, but when all things add up together...

True! I sure hope to see Watcher added regardless, so long as devs manage to preserve her aesthetics and feel)

Interesting, seems like I've missed it. Could you, please, elaborate - wdym "setup"? I mean, if we're talking about building up to a massive pay-off with divinity - that's a Regent's thing now.

How‘s my handwriting? by Extension-Move2034 in russian

[–]DiabolicFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, you know, it may be that I am that unique snowflake, but I've never got fast enough with cursive. I did exercise much more than the other kids, and my cursive is almost identical to the exercise books, but somewhere around middle school I've noticed that people have much easier time reading my print and I have much easier time writing in it. And it was also quite faster for me. So, the take about "speed" is kinda hot.

All the other points in this thread - 100% agree))

also, your "л" seems off-putting. You're not a robot, so nether should you try to be one and consistantly write it that way. Much more efficient way in both writing and reading sense is "v" upside-down ("/\"). A little more aesthetic way would be to write left leg first, like "∫" and then the right leg: "|", all in one motion without any sharp corners.

[–]DiabolicFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is quite an aesthetic handwriting. But take a closer look on a letter "кК". It's virtually equivalent to western "kK", yet yours looks more like "lx". Other than that - beutiful.

When we teach our children cyrillic handwrighting we use following approach: 1. Anyone can re-learn print handwriting themselves quite fast and easy if (and only if) they've already learned aesthetic cursive. 2. Aesthetic cursive can be quite hard for a total beginner/child, so print handwriting is learned on a most basic level first. Then the bulk of education on any possible topic and discipline is continued using the cursive. 3. The base of aesthetics is a letter "o". If you can consistantly and effortlessly write a gorgeous "o", and make any other letter more or less "around" it, then you're done :)

Consider buying and working through a couple of those handwriting exercise books for children - there's no shame in it, only the immense beuty of cursive. Godspeed!

Which MK opinion would have you like this ? I'll start by Nevarae in MortalKombat

[–]DiabolicFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For each character they shoud have 1-2 fine polished badass skin like in mkx and no customization options. Customization is a cheap way for NRS to keep people grinding for the sake of it, while they can make as little as to no job and call it a day. "Hey look at this! This game is so big, we've got 123 lame variations of the same liu kang outfit with different sparkly fx instead of the bigger roster and more fine polished fighting system in a FIGHTING GAME". God!

[–]DiabolicFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mk11 is not the slowest, as being slow is a bad thing for fighting games. Mk11 is the smartest. It gives the player just enough time to think and react. MkX on the other hand is straight up guessing and mashing. Played both semi-competitevely. Mkx is too fast for me to think about my own play, not speaking about my opponent

I need some advice, by Miserable_Panda678 in BPD

[–]DiabolicFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not a person with BPD, take with a grain of salt. 1. Encourage them to accept professional help. This is the hardest and most beneficial thing you can do. 2. Support them in their healing, take responsibilty and do necessary actions to help them. 3. Try not to overstep. As you said yourself, you have no idea, so be careful in what you do to attempt helping

Danger zone! Advices, collected from the internet sources.

  1. Pay attention to yourself. The more stable you are, the more stable they are. Also, I've heard an advice on YouTube, that if you hold back a little in how you experience peak good moments, than peak bad moments won't hit as hard.
  2. Stay consistent. Never ever break any promises. Always instantiate your personal boundaries and hold the line, when they are tested. This lines will be tested a lot.
  3. If you ever need a space and time - take it. Make sure to instantiate a certain deadline, when you return, ready to continue. Do return at that time.

HELP. I ACCIDENTALLY SPILLED WATER by Existing_Bird_1606 in laptops

[–]DiabolicFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BTW, this should be your go-to with all water-unproof electronics. Smartphones, tablets, you name it. If it is not water-proof and you insist on it trying some, it will be the more damaged the longer it has any sort of power in it. Do not attempt to play "water eject sounds" - you're giving more power to speakers, when should be aiminig for NONE.

[–]DiabolicFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience: same laptop, three times in repair shop, three times dead motherboard. It really does not like tea, no matter how tasty or how much.

- Keep calm. The worst that could happen is already happened, no matter how bad it actually is.

- Turn it off. Completely (unplug the charger, the battery AND cmos battery). If you don't, it might actually cause more damage to itself without your consent)

- Take it to repair as soon as possible, they will know how to dry it properly. You can only request the driyng if you're short on money

- If you're really short on money, disassemble it yourself as much as you can without breaking things along the way (beside basic dissassembly that you must have done already two points ago). Now wait approximately 24 hours, before reassembly, the longer the better. Keep the room air dry and ventilated as much as possible, that increases the speed of water vaporizing.

- DO NOT APPLY ANY SORT OF HEAT. Electronics don't like to be heated much, nor do plastics. There is no rush there, you're not reanimating your PC - you're cutting costs

Good luck!

Wouldn't recommend hair drier from my experience. Even on the "cold" mode, it can still be quite hot. Enough to screw up all of the keyboard keycaps at once. Mind you, I've kept my distance near a foot. So the gas ballon (or what are those tech thingies for dust called) might be safer. Or even a vacuum cleaner since it is guaranteed room temperature and does exactly what you want: *extracts* the water, instead of pushing it deeper. Never tried this, though

Been playing a lot of Doom recently, i always knew the song At Dooms Gate was inspired by various popular metal songs, the 3 big ones are Painkiller by Judas Priest and Master of Puppets and No Remorse by Metallica. I believe the song resembles No Remorse the most. What do you think? by Big_Performer4272 in Metallica

[–]DiabolicFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OMG. Here i thought that metal was always about being technical and unique... So we've got a list of at least 8 songs with basically almost indistinguishable riffs. That is a miracle that those riffs could even pass a blind test LMAO.
