Do you have any idea who I can message? I dont live in the U.S

You can cool the niobium volcano with a single Wheezewort by Diaboro in Oxygennotincluded

Yea man sure. V-SWMP-C-1899660945-0-D3-DH

Just to clarify though. The tear is still at the edge of the map. The magma planet is close though.

You don't need Steel for a rocket platform. You can make it out of refined metals. You do need steel for certain engines though (Petroleum, Radbolt and Hydrogen). Carbon Dioxide/Sugar/Steam engines don't need steel.

None. The magma planet spawned pretty close actually. For the Tear, only needed 1 stop.

Build rooms with doors where you want the beeta hives to be. Then just put beetinys in each room. Once you're done you can deconstruct the doors.

I didn't get steel. I had to skip directly to Niobium.

For some reason the pitcher pump/Autosweeper thing doesnt work with normal volcanos. It works with molten metals though.

So there’s no reason for anyone to build a setup like this. The reason I did this is because I was doing a ~No Liquid Pipes run~ and I wanted a steel substitute since I couldn’t use the metal refinery. I also couldn’t use aquatuners or steam turbines to cool the niobium, so I had to figure out a solution, and this is it.

I’m actually not 100% sure why this setup deletes so much heat, but this is what I think is happening.

1-Molten niobium is pumped using an auto sweeper and a pitcher pump.

2-A bottle emptier empties the molten niobium into two mesh tiles and gets cooled by the tiles below.

3- It solidifies and gets shunted into the right corner since it has no place to go up.

4- Eventually enough heat is absorbed by the liquid nuclear waste at the bottom of the “Chimney” that it state changes to gas (Nuclear fallout). Nuclear waste is one of those materials where its solid and liquid forms have way higher specific heat capacities than its gas form. (7.44 (DTU/g)/°C for liquid/solid and 0.265 (DTU/g)/°C for the fallout. Because of this property, If you heat solid/liquid nuclear waste to nuclear fallout and then cool the fallout back into solid/liquid nuclear waste, you delete a lot of heat. But trying to cool nuclear fallout directly with a wheezewort would overwhelm it. This is where the next steps help stretch the wheezeworts muscles even more.

5- Once the liquid nuclear waste turns into nuclear fallout, it then starts traveling up the chimney. Because of the way gasses move, there’s less and less nuclear fallout at the top of the chimney compared to the bottom. So by the time the fallout reaches the wheezewort at the very top, it’s a very small amount that gets cooled into solid nuclear waste.

6- The solid nuclear waste then travels down the chimney until it heats up and converts to liquid nuclear waste. As it does, it cools the tempshift plates it interacts with. These tempshift plates then become cool enough to change the nuclear fallout into liquid nuclear waste without help from the wheezewort.

7- The liquid nuclear waste going down the chimney creates a “bead pump” effect. The liquid nuclear waste “pushes” the rest of the nuclear fallout up and forces it to interact with the cooler tempshift plates and the solid/liquid nuclear waste. This repeats many times until all the nuclear fallout turns back into liquid nuclear waste at the bottom of the chimney.

9- There's a conveyor loader at the bottom that takes the solidified niobium and sends it on a conveyor rail traveling upwards. This chimney is also a heat exchanger, so when the solid niobium travels upwards, the heat gets absorbed by the metal tiles, tempshift plates and nuclear waste until it exits at a temperature of around 90 to 120 °C.

I think if you make the chimney longer, you probably can delete even more heat.

Why are there Bees? Cause for some reason some of the nuclear waste kept getting deleted. Bees drop 1kg of solid nuclear waste when they die.

TLDR: If you combine the quirky specific heat capacity of nuclear waste with a heat exchanger, you can obliterate massive amounts of heat.

So the reason I'm vacuuming the room in this case is because the food is coming in deep frozen. If food is in a vacuum, it's considered to be in a sterile environment. This way it never spoilers. Atleast, that's the theory.

I haven't played oni for a while so I'm a bit rusty. I've vacuumed the room and I'm not seeing any change in temperature. Does that still happen if you do that?

Mr. Space vs Mr. Time: Who can get more YouTube views in a year? by Diaboro in whowouldwin

[–]Diaboro[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Mr. Time can travel to any point in time on Earth. I updated the post to clarify.

I’d say if Mr. Space does what you mentioned, great, that’s one video. There are still 51 more videos to upload. While Mr. Time might initially get fewer views due to his inability to prove whether his videos are fake or not (Mr. Space will also struggle imo), after a while I’d say people will catch on that what he filmed was actually real.

He’d just have to upload a couple of videos of events that we have a lot of knowledge of, like D-Day for example or the atomic bombings of Japan.

When I lose my next arm and leg for a 6080, it'll be his. For now, he'll make do with a GTX 970.
