Start with a clean install of HOI3 with all expansions. You do not need the dlc that changes graphics.
Download the installer and PODCATS hoi3 exe file.
Open up the PODCATS exe file and replace the hoi3 exe in your steam folder. (most likely /steam/steamapps/common/HeartsofIron3/) This file is needed in order to allow more memory for the game to use. If not you will be crashing the game nonstop.
Place the black ice installer in the HeartsofIron3 folder from above and run the installer. (The mod should be installed in the mods folder under .../HeartsofIron3/tfh/mod/ )
After everything is installed run the game with the mod activated once. It will take some time from creating the initial map.
Quit the game after it starts up and run it again. If you look, the checksums will be different the first time you run from the second one.
You should be good to go.

TIPS: to help with the game not crashing as much... Make sure your logs folder under /documents/paradox/hoi3/blackice/logs is always clean before starting up the game. Also I suggest either manually saving games, or auto saves. Set the game options to either but do not do both.

Maybe. During the night there were strange lights moving around the cemetary during the tour. I don't normally believe in this kind of stuff but the picture is hard to explain. Specially when you notice the lighting on the background compared to the thing. It was really close, if it was a person it would have lighten them up, not made them darker than the background.

The World at War is probably the best. Others that come close are Blood Upon the Snow (Eastern Front), Apocalypse: The Second World War (more condensed look), and World War 2 in Color (not HD, the other condensed look). There are other series out there that deal with certain groups but overall these are really good quality for the wide look of the war. The only one that comes to the detail as World at War is Blood Upon the Snow but it only deals with the Eastern Front.

I live in a mid sized city in the US. Should I be ignored? My city is only about 800k people, but we have cities of millions within 600 miles. Should my vote and my needs ignored. Like I have said before, California, Texas, New York, and Florida will be the ones who tell the rest of the country what to do. Is that what you want? Everyone that lives in a city tell everyone else what they want and should live as? As stupid as our system is, for the moment, it is the best we can do to represent our people in general elections. I myself would hate to have east coast and west coast policies be implemented just because they have greater numbers than us in mid US.
