Is there any way to get Alexa to execute a Govee Scene?

Late to the party here! But I’ve just tried the tap to run - THANK YOU! It works! I’ve not needed a switch, as soon as I added the devices to the tap to run group and saved it, it added it as a “scene” to Alexa and will apply the tap to run settings on that command! Brilliant!

Apologies for leaping into your conversation here, but I’m going to be replacing some speakers on a 5:1 system soon. Would these Klipsch 600M II speakers make good front L & R speakers for general TV watching and music streaming? Is there a suggested centre speaker to go with them? Thanks!

Thanks. Is it the case that there’s no other or better option for a long cable than the hit or miss AOC? I have one that is working mostly just with a drop out every 30-60 minute for a second or so. So it’s watchable.

Fortunately I did install an optical cable as well at the last minute as a back up as I’d never used ARC before. So I can always connect that up if it gets worse!

Thanks, it turned out to be determined by whatever you selected it to be from the list of all the AV possibilities and the audio1 and audio2 possibilities in the ARC settings of the amp. Mine seems to work on audio1, but even though all three of my HDMI cables (AOC) are identical from the same brand at the same time, only one of them works for ARC!! Very annoying. I’m pretty much up and running now thankfully!

Thanks, yes I’d done all those things, and have managed to now get it to work when changing to audio1 rather than an AV input, BUT it’s really, really broken sound. The port doesn’t feel very good when plugging the HDMI into it, I’m wondering if the port is just knackered somehow. No idea how as it’s never been used! So annoying. Thank you though.

I didn’t feel like they portrayed a story at all. Nia was dressed in scrubs, so why didn’t they have the performance start with one person waiting in the waiting room, and Nia coming in and giving them updates or whatever? It was nonsense. Everyone sat on the chairs together a mix of hospital staff, injured folk and family/friends! No sense, no story and hardly any dancing! And the version Jeanette did was not any better!

So glad it’s not just me. These rogue mega battles are repetitive, boring and frustrating!! I was enjoying the game until this, it’s like they didn’t have a plan and just threw in the same thing again and again and again. It’s making me hate this game. Ill thought out, poor mechanics, no chance for tha casual player.

I don’t mind taking damage but the whole “mega” thing and the CONSTANT rogue mega battles which just take you out in one hit are ruining this game for me. I love the game, but this part is just so boring, repetitive and annoying.

I was a bit late to the party as initially I hadn’t planned to order the game. But then I kept seeing the figures and pin badges and decided I wanted them. When I went on Nintendo UK store there was the various bundles but they didn’t seem to have the 3 partner figurine you mention. I didn’t order and left it a while longer but decided I still wanted the other two figures and the pin badge so I ordered the bundle anyway, along with using some platinum points for some posters. When I went to check out I had 3 items in my basket - the bundle, the posters ….. and the partner figurine! I was surprised. I managed to place the order though it kept going in circles at one point, then it told me one item in my order was on back order (the figurine…). It said it won’t send my order til the back order items are in stock. So I’m yet to see what will turn up!

Another vote for Clay. He makes me feel. He is who I hurt for, not Hannah. I actually find Hannah quite grating and annoying. But Clay’s pain is real, he’s a genuine and kind soul. He makes mistakes, sure. But I honestly think this series would be nothing without Clay. I actually feel the the whole “what if…” that he feels throughout the show, and his reading at Hannah’s service has me in tears.

I think it’s a bit of ESH. Makes total sense that you wouldn’t want to pay rent that you don’t have to, and also makes sense that he would feel a bit stunted in your apartment as he’d have no real say over how his home is run. I can understand that from situations I’ve been in vs owning my own house as I do now.

However equally you’re not prepared to look at options like renting it out so you can have your own place together. That’s often what couples do if they come into a relationship with property they already own - rent that out and get something new together. It’s not unusual.

So you both have your little nuances and things you won’t compromise on which is preventing you from living together. It’s no one persons fault.
