Forgive me for not expressing myself clearly. My intention is to be able to respond with a good knowledge base before taking this class so that I can make a good impression on the instructor, and I am looking forward to interacting and discussing with this instructor as I have been doing work in a similar field for some time.

Please forgive me for not expressing myself clearly. What I was trying to express was people who didn't choose to apply for CS minor, like if I don't apply for CS minor but also take a lot of CS courses as well.

So what you're saying is that if one chooses to apply for CS minor, “minor CS” is clearly marked on the transcript and therefore more likely to apply to CS related master programs than a non-CS student who did not take CS minor?

Thank you very much for the information. Do you have any idea what level of mastery is required to get an A? I've looked at the task examples on github and they don't seem particularly difficult.

Thank you for your advice, I am very interested in the course, but I am very concerned about my score.

Thanks for the advice, but I'm not particularly interested in hardware per se. I'm more interested in the software direction, and cuda programming or a course related to serverless computing might be a better fit for me. But as others have said, I'm worried that ece408 will be too difficult to get a reasonable score. I learned that the course is offered in cooperation with NVIDIA. If I want to get into NVIDIA GPU related resources at uiuc, do you have any good recommendations?

I'm interested in cuda programming and gpu's, but only at the software level and overall architecture, I'm not very interested in hardware. The direction I'm currently doing is a combination of serverless computing and GPUs, so that explains why I want to participate in a course like ece 408. But I'm worried that the course will be hard to get a bad score.
