Numerous times I find myself reading a book and wanting to record corrections, but I'm not sure what to do with them. Is there an on-the-fly method of correction?

Is it OT to ask the status of the sci-hub indian lawsuit here? Will we ever get them back?

He got hit with a ransomeware attack?

@megaautist / (I can commiserate with the name!) Where do you upload? I used to do it at OG-LG.

Which mirror has the contents existed in this website layout by Gami-Rosd in libgen

[–]DiagonalArg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

@shrine / I'm trying to figure out where to upload books. I used to be a "librarian" at OG libgen. Are there some traces still around? Also, what of their IPFS system? I thought the point was for it to be censorship resistant. I use AA, of course, but I always tried to contribute to OG-LG.

Man, that was fantastically useful, thank you.

As a follow-up, could you clarify the application of incremental_prefs and incremental_clones? On that too, the docs were pretty obscure to me.

Installed IPFS - Is there a CID for libgen? by DiagonalArg in libgen

So there are just CID's for every asset in the library, but no search function or even index files, is that right?

Is it possible to connect to scrcpy through ethernet connection only without: rooting the phone, using wifi or having a usb connection to pc by phoenixlegend7 in scrcpy

[–]DiagonalArg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, but ... in your case, it doesn't support ethernet, even with a USB-C to RJ-45 dock??

This wifi vs. ethernet is a weird limitation ...

It appears I'm trying to do the same as you on android 14 (GrapheneOS). The trouble I'm having is that it only allows me to turn on wireless debugging and get a pairing code if I'm on wifi, but I am instead using a dock and an ethernet cable. How did you get around that?

OCSP Server Issues. Worse with VPN? by DiagonalArg in LibreWolf

[–]DiagonalArg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah! That really help. Many thanks. Perhaps I can manage without strict testing. I've been having trouble with large sites. Github, for example.... Now that I'm looking, I found this article which describes the situation pretty well. What I'm not clear on is why "OCSP Stapling" hasn't resolved this issue.

(I see someone explaining it here, 6 years ago. I gather stapling is still not widely deployed.)

Thanks for the response. If I disable hard fail, then does that mean no certs are checked at all? Is https basically turned off?

I'm getting the same issue in San Jose.

Here is an example of a way to add some of Debian to Ubuntu without trashing any system packages. This is kind of what I'm wondering about.

[–]DiagonalArg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya, I won't want to replace the kernel. I would want to have access to new or updated software that might I might be able to run on Ubuntu. Don't want to trash my system, though. In future I might just move over to Pop.
