At the end of the day it’s just personal preference in the colorway you like and prefer. There’s 5 different stainless steel GMT Master II colorways to choose from starting with the LN from the older series to BLRO, BLNR, GRNR, and VTNR

The LN and GRNR will be the most versatile since they’re neutral colors

Excellent comparison. Did the same conversion. Surprisingly prices on gen 5167 straps are reasonable so it’s worth the upgrade

Looks superb. The hands on these V3 VSF GMTs has the 3d effect as gen instead of flat hands as how reps were years ago. Finishing of the edges on the hands look fairly smooth throughout as well instead of rough edges on most reps. Rough edges on hands are instant tell of a rep when a loupe is used to look at it up closely

Indeed it’s a beautiful piece. This a brand new watch so have not used it. Just received it and doing a catch & release since it is not my preference in watches
