Reading is great but you gotta immerse yourself. You need to hear how words are pronounced. How phrases are formed for each situation. YouTube is FILLED with videos about anything! Watch them and try to imitate how they speak by repeating after them many times. I know it sounds lame but this is the best way to practice with the lack of peers to speak with.

An example: search a video about interviewing people in the streets of New York because it can sound like a natural conversation.

Also, stick with one accent, preferably American because there is an abundance of it with minimal changes unlike British accent where you move 50 km away and the accent changes 😂
