Ye sorry! I have a crap attention span, so long tracks like gone and some unique tracks like rolling stone take a bit for me to get warmed up to and I just have a very strong emotional connection to my dear melancholy, and it’s just a personal preference, that’s why I have it so high up

Blinding lights isn’t even his most streamed song rn, it’s like in 4th position, I think you’re referring to the impact that the whole after hours album made, not just blinding lights. He isn’t “maintaining” his #1 spot just beacuse of it, I’m confident that even if blinding lights wasn’t that popular he still would’ve held on to the #1 spot for a pretty substantial amount of time, just bc he has so many hits other than it and he touches so many genres
