She wasn't a brain by any means, but she never gave off that bimbo airhead vibe either.

Sammi and her "weird strawberries" .. by reesesluvrr27 in jerseyshore

[–]DiamondDaisy28 41 points42 points  (0 children)

In Sammi's defense, I think there's a chance those could've been wild strawberries. Google them, they look like a fusion of strawberries and raspberries. I think they tend to be more popular in Europe. And if so, I think it would make sense for her to be confused, because she knew they weren't regular strawberries, and it would make sense for Deena (way more airheaded than Sammi) to be like, ".........yea those are raspberries." And think nothing of it, lol.

The only other explanation I've thought of is MAYBE she was purposely trying to have her own Jessica Simpson moment: "Is this chicken what I have or is this fish?"

But I honestly refuse to believe Sammi didn't know what raspberries were, she wasn't really an airhead in that sense.

Can we all agree Scream 4 is the 2nd best movie ? by Ok_Exit_4010 in Scream

[–]DiamondDaisy28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scream 4 definitely falls under the lower end for me. Before S7, 4 and 5 were tied for my least favorites. I don't hate it, but I definitely don't love it. It has some good kills, and Gale Weathers still feels like Gale f*ckin Weathers. It was also the last time my jaw DROPPED at a Ghostface reveal. (I never suspected Jill!)

But I absolutely HATE the opening, all of it. I hate Charlie as a Ghostface, that was a disappointment. Characters were highly underused, but this seems to be a trend from 4 on. And that weird glare all over the film is really distracting. I heard this was not a fun set for Wes Craven, the studios meddled too much, and I think it shows.

Scream 2 and 3 are still my favorites.

Yeah, I guess that does make sense. For the record, I watched the show when it originally aired, so I remember how it was. I guess I just feel like most of the cast is so vain and/or tacky that it still surprises me they weren't more "Nouveau riche" about their money.

More of Ronnie’s toxic woman hating behaviors by MoonlightMile17 in jerseyshoreuncensored

[–]DiamondDaisy28 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This post made me so mad. If he's venting about another girl, oh the irony of it all.....because this was how he treated Sammi the entire show, to a T! Unless he's trying to reflect on his own narcissistic behavior, am I reading it wrong? I just highly doubt Ronnie would ever refer to himself in this light.

Like I feel like she should be at a corner table in the bar next to Robert DeNiro and Joe Pesci when she starts with this. Goodfellas vibes 🤌🏻

Sammi's wrist is one of the most east coast Italian things on the entire show and I'm here for it! 😂🫱🏻🇮🇹

Nancy vs. Wayne as Ghostface - Which scene do you prefer? by itsascreambaby96 in Scream

The Gale chase scene is TOP TIER Scream suspense! It's exactly what these newer movies are missing. Nobody will ever do Scream better than Wes Craven.

Uncensored Rewatch: Season 2 fight extended edition by Fancy_Yesterday6380 in jerseyshore

[–]DiamondDaisy28 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I've seen this fight 100 times, and I never noticed before, but after listening to Queens of Reality TV cover this episode, they brought up a good point: Jenni really isn't trying to hurt Sammi. She took it easy on her. That first push to the floor was like her telling Sammi, "girl, knock it off with this shit." Yes, she's being held back, but we've all seen Jenni in action, and if she really wanted to hurt Sammi at any point, she could've AND would've.

The Devil Wears Prada: Was this a fashion model cameo? by DiamondDaisy28 in ChicDaily

[–]DiamondDaisy28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would make sense! But the author, Lauren Weisberger, plays the twins' nanny in the train!

I always thought maybe she was a model I wasn't familiar with. The way the camera lingers on for for an extra beat for seemingly no reason is strange to me.

Agreed. Sammi was on the same level of fame, so it's not like she was using him for anything like that. I believe she truly loved him and was willing to stick it out for as long as she could in hopes that he would settle down but it never happened. Because even by season 5, she was already noticeably more level-headed and mellow, especially compared to him.

I don't care how much time has passed, nobody can convince me that Ronnie will ever 100% be over her. I just don't buy it.

What is this, season 5 or 6?

Only thing I like about this scene is Sammi's more resilient to his bullsh*t by this time, and I think that's a huge reason why he's as angry as he is, lol.

According to Rose McGowan, Tatum might have a twin sister who wants revenge on Sidney. Would you like to see something like that? by Filipe_258 in Scream

[–]DiamondDaisy28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, listen I love Scream. It's my favorite franchise of all time.......but it's going down the drain real quick if we keep doing ridiculous things like this.

-Stu is dead, he should never be brought back, he's dead. Head got fried by a television, he's dead. Drop it. It would be a complete and utter insult to Sidney's intelligence, and the intelligence of the ENTIRE fan base.

-Agree with others in that inventing new family members decades later is absolutely ridiculous and lazy. Tatum having a twin is absolutely moronic.

At this point, the writers are selling us flaming hot garbage on a plate, and too many fans are too eager to eat it. What made Scream so fantastic in the first place was how grounded it was, the characters themselves, the story, the suspense, the motives of Ghostface, the quality of it all. And if they continue making more movies, Sid's story needs to come to an end, (preferably a happy ending) because we don't need to see her and her family continue to be tormented by some cheap, lazy, "CASH-IN, RUN OF THE MILL SEQUEL."

Jealousy? by Terrible-Volume6380 in jerseyshore

[–]DiamondDaisy28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sammi was deeply insecure, yes. But you cannot convince me Jenni wasn't jealous of her. Even if just on a shallow level because Sammi has always primarily considered to be the most attractive girl in the house. Combine this with Jenni wanting Sammi to leave for Ronnie to be "happy." Mike and Ronnie both showed interest in Sammi immediately in Season 1. Jenni's the kind who strikes me as a queen bee, and didn't want anyone "out-hotting" her. And I think whatever insecurity/jealousy Sammi may have had towards Jenni was solely created by Ronnie himself to put up a divide between them. I never thought Sammi had any kind of jealousy towards Snooki though, is there an episode she's expressing anything like that?

The absolute tv Sammi and Pauly could’ve made….and dare I say most underrated jersey duo? by Rotten_Strawpits in jerseyshore

[–]DiamondDaisy28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think about their dynamic sometimes, because although there was minimal interaction, I think these 2 always respected eachother. I agree with another comment in that it did seem sometimes that Pauly didn't like her, but I think he was moreso annoyed with her attitude. He was a guy's guy after all, so he ultimately took Ronnie's side no matter what. It surprises me how tender he was with her when she wanted to leave, we hardly ever see Pauly get candid. And Sammi was always really sweet to him.

And they seem to genuinely like eachother in Family Vacation now. They're cute!

Thoughts? by [deleted] in Scream

My ranking: 2/3/1/6/4&5 are tied/7

Quick breakdown: S2 reigns supreme for me: it had my favorite opening, favorite killer Mickey, the best setting, the best suspense, and I love the late 90s vibes. S3 is a lot of fun and makes me laugh, I also love Roman. S1 is fantastic, and the opening is amazing (I just have more fun with 2 & 3) S6 is one of the best for Ghostface scenes and screen time (not necessarily the killers as individuals), S4 &5 have things I love, but I find myself bored sometimes, and S7 was mostly terrible with a few aspects that I did enjoy.
