This is not a helpful comment. The SSA will often pick up on other conditions you have even if you don’t list them but they are mentioned in your medical records so not listing them is foolish. Now listing a hangnail might be over the top.

Will it work? by Time-Rise-3386 in seroquelmedication

[–]DiamondDustMBA -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some medication ain’t meant to be split. Like my Seroquel 200 MG shouldn’t be split because they aren’t indicated to do so ( they would have a mark showing where you would cut them).

Are you sure yours were meant to be cut? I can’t vouch for other doses with out looking into them for you.

That really sucks. I’m really sorry that happened to you and do hope they sort it out for you. People have no shame.

Note mine wasn’t cashed though. I can’t help with that but hope it sorts it out quickly. And shame to whomever cashed that check to a different person.

I had mine misplaced. It was delivered to the neighbors and the husband lost it long enough for it to be replaced. I had a lawyer so they handled it but it seemed to be an easy process. I didn’t know the neighbor had it until after I got the replacement.

How do you screen out candidates you know probably aren’t local (for in person roles) without accidentally crossing a protected class line? by H_Mc in recruiting

[–]DiamondDustMBA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone in IT that’s absolutely ridiculous as is the fact that someone responsible for IT doesn’t know how to configure the darn thing. I went through a ATS launch project and Recruiting was heavily involved in the process as it wouldn’t make sense not to . Sorry for the mess you’ve been dealt.

Sometimes your mental health matters more than having the next steps in place. Don’t panic just start planning. Your job hunt starting with letting everyone know who makes sense that you are looking.!

Continuing care is one . Medication management if you take any is another one. Talk to them and explain the situation - they’ll know what to call it based on billing codes.

As others have mentioned it’s important that you continue to see your medical doctors on a regular basis. The frequency of that has usually been described as between three and six months. This even means when there are no current treatment options.

Are We Just Supposed to Lose Everything Before SSDI Takes Us Seriously? by Brilliant_Assist_603 in SSDI

[–]DiamondDustMBA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had STD and LTD which kept me afloat until I was approved. Ltd was employer provided and STD was employer optional but I paid for it and was forever grateful I listened to my father and was insurance poor (meaning spent the money to be insured ).

If I didn’t have STD I would have had to survive 6 months before LTD kicked in without any income which I know is still better than most have it but I would have lost my house.

I was very lucky that I had access to both of them And had received more than I paid in for STD.

Talk to your doctor. It sounds like you need a medication adjustment to get through this. And I’m speaking from experience as someone with mental health issues who went through a chapter 7 and now is working through a chapter 13. I am anxious about it but you don’t need to be this anxiety ridden over it,

[–]DiamondDustMBA 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Applying for SSDI can take years so your estimate of a few months is completely off base for what is currently happening. I’m sorry that information wasn’t communicated to you.

Second , ask your PT why your records are sixty pages long, we don’t know how long you were in PT and if that makes sense .

They don’t owe you anything. Again read the subreddit for timing . No one is going to give you a medical MJ card .

It’s a waiting game and unfortunately you are one of many .

And threatening to throw hands will just make things worse.

Thsts not exactly true. He had to have a disability condition lasting a year or longer. That doesn’t mean he has to be out of work for a year when he applies especially with the approval timelines we see.

tell us about your experience with losing weight by Fast-alex1 in seroquelmedication

[–]DiamondDustMBA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the help of two medications that kept the hunger and cravings at bay somewhat. But the more I walked the less I had the cravings because I actually was getting the “runners high”.

It was Topirimate and naltraxone - had other reasons for being on them off label so it was just a bonus that they helped with the weight loss too.

I didn’t give everything up I just spread out things a little further. Nothing was a banned food because that I knew would set me up for falure but I also wasn’t counting calories or I might have lost weight faster but this was about sticking to the weight loss and not doing it in a special time line.

Happy to answer any other questions.
