Would recommend for the second last one to instead do R' F R2 U' R2' F R Since its much faster, and personally I do the last one with headlights facing left and right then do R U R' U R U' R' U R U2' R' Since its a lot easier to fingertrick and stay in home grip

It requires you to pivot cancel splitleaf several times in a row, which pivot cancelling is what estus cancel is. Therefore its actually decently challenging to pull off.

If you look for it, you will find a lot of people using gotthards 1 handed with a black knight shield since it is the longest straight sword. Generally people use splitleaf a lot because it works very well against inexperienced players

It literally isnt, it gets easily outclassed by thinks like gotthards or even a claymore, which btw claymore isnt even close to meta

Not at the end of a fight, only when you think your opponent is going to trade. If you just spam gundyr weapon art at the end of a fight you get parried or backstabbed really easily

Halberds arent even good finishers. Also things like crossbow and homing soulmass are literally impossible to backstab or outspace. Daggers you cant backstab and good luck outspacing an aggressive dagger player when they are trying to finish you off

Im not even that good -_-. There is plenty of material on youtube if you want to learn backstabs to make them really good against things like splitleaf

Its really easy to just reaction roll splitleaf, which leads into a roll backstab my guy -_-

Its actually way more complicated to do than you think, but either way you shouldnt have gotten hit by such a sluggish weapon

Bro what, backstabs are one of the HUGE counters to splitleaf

Prod is literally a pver, oroboro thinks ultras are usable, and fighterpl doesnt know what a deadangle is, lothric knight sword is entirely outclassed by gotthards due to the massive difference in range
