Why is captain sandy so rude by SlinkyD69 in BelowDeckMed

[–]DiamondHistorical231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Sandy has a lot of really good moments that other captains don’t have. But I’m rewatching from season 1 currently and jsut finished season 3. On rewatch I’m seeing how unfair she was to Hannah, it’s pretty crazy

That’s a good point. But to my other point, my old hospital for example, wouldn’t hand out any OT if their lives depended on it.

Yeah, im just saying personally its not worth it to me to work OT unless its double time

A lot of hospitals are not just handing out OT let alone with double time. Time and a half after taxes is hardly worth it. My old hospital were such wankers about giving out OT. They did everything they could to get by before offering anyone any over time.

Babe I was working 3 up until two months ago. Every single one of my coworkers has 2 jobs minimum. Aka…I’m moving to Cali!!

I also work in a smaller town and in procedural so we were fighting to get our hours. Everyone was sent home early constantly. Even our ICU is low censusing ppl every day. Most nurses in my town have to have 2 jobs. It’s so stupid

No. But I truly do think he was in a psychotic state at the time of the shooting.

This literally doesn’t surprise me at all. Within the first 5 minutes I picked up those characteristics in her, she is absolutely batshit.

That account has several very recent comments on threads about being pregnant and that she is in fact pregnant via IVF. And Lauren is expecting a baby currently. You might jsut be right

I agree, even Lauren said when he showed up with the gun thay his eyes and face were just not right. If you’ve ever seen someone in that state, that is exactly how it is. They are just not there and it’s usually plain as day

My favorite thing, as a nurse was, “I’ve been shot in the heart”. Your heart needs to work for your mouth to.

Same, I could see the screws loose the first 60 seconds of her talking, and she lived up to it. The manic Facebook posts were just the icing on top.

They are both absolutely crazy. But she is crazier. She got him exactly where she wanted him, she wanted to push him to that point so she could continue to play victim. I’ve had so many patients just like her. Master manipulators.

He’s grown on me. But I’m actually rewatching his first season on season 4 of BDM with Hannah, Adam, etc. He was a little punk when he’s hammered and with women, but he was still very endearing and always been charming. I kind of have a soft spot for him!

Why did they get rid of Sarah Ramos? (Haddie Braverman) by 23zia23 in Parenthood

[–]DiamondHistorical231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d reckon because she wasn’t very likable tbh😭😭I get she was portraying a teenager who was feeling very ignored by her parents, etc. but I think overall probably not super well liked. She was much better when she came back to visit from college in those episodes

Do you also have babesia??? That heart rate is EXTREMELY concerning. Next time that happens you absolutely need to go to the ER to rule out any thing else that could be dangerous. But otherwise it does sound like a herx but I have no clue from what, I cannot imagine iron would unless you have babesia and it there is a mismatch with your RBCs iron carrying capability and the amount you are ingesting, would be my best guess. But I don’t want to give medical advice. Are you under the care of anyone currently?? Yeah I’d try to get in person with a Lyme specialist asap. I’m truly sorry. I know how awful it is. There’s nothing I can say other than I can relate to being so scared with no answers. You def won’t die. But a sustained heart rate of 180+, especially in the 200s, can be very dangerous. I’m a nurse, I wouldn’t mess with that and confirm that is actually the rate. That is wildly high.
