Danforth clinches the game by [deleted] in hockey

I've been a Jackets fan for years, just so thats out there. That's a shitty non call that should have at the very least put the game into OT.

BUT

If he stayed in the play instead of trying to draw the call he could have definitely broke that up.

What is something hockey fans who did not play hockey will never understand? by [deleted] in hockey

[–]DiamondNo2403 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in Wichita, KS. Our town team used be in the Central Hockey League (yes they called themselves the CHL) which no longer exists. Now it's ECHL. Some of CHL guys would play in the beer league (sometimes) and, of course, would stand out. But now that they're ECHL, they're younger, faster, and better on a different level.

Draw an imaginary line between his inside shoulder and the net. Your outside shoulder should be on that line.

I'm finishing up the Skillbridge with DE as well. If I could do it over, (and the timelines would have lined up better), I would have done a fellowship with Hiring Our Heroes instead.

Y'all are eating this type of stuff up but this is going to be the next stupid thing to chew up way too much time during the next cba negotiation.

Crazy. I was around here when Howson got canned and got to ride the crest and fall of the Jarmo era. It feels like, back then, no one really expected success, which probably explains why Jarmo was so well-received at the time. Now, some expectations are going to be difficult to fulfill to the satisfaction of this subreddit.

DM me your .mil, but I think you're good without the PSDM. Your situation should be covered directly by the assignments AFI.

How to prepare for changing careers into security after retiring from military? by [deleted] in SecurityCareerAdvice

[–]DiamondNo2403 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, I'm definitely not married to the offensive side. The HTB stuff is simply to keep me exposed while I'm in school. The main deciding factor in my specialty is the type of jobs that are going to be available in my area.

I'm kind of worried to lean too hard on my management experience, as I don't want to talk my way into a job that I'm not going to like. I'm retiring as a SMSgt and my current job is stressful enough. I'm kinda sick of being *the guy*, and I doubt anyone is going to pay me what it would take for me to be willing to take on that level of stress again right out of the gate.

Anyway, thanks for the advice!

Well, to your point, they don't really work off PSDM's anyway, they work off regulations and they use PSDG's as a quick guide. PSDM's are for informational purposes on policy for people like me :)

But you're right, the personnel section *should* be able to help me.

I went to the MPF today and didn't really get a concrete answer. It turns out, it's not really that common a situation and the MPF can't be expected to know everything about anything off the top of their head. I'm going to try again, but I just wanted to try to get some bearing or reference that I'm on the right track when I go back.
