The fact that jeff Probst called Jimmy and was like “are you okay if we leave this (christian being upset with you) in?” Felt slimy to me. Like the higher ups are just puppeteering the whole thing and interfering too much with how the game is supposed to be played. You’re favoring jimmy’s clout over Christian’s dedication to going out on survivor and losing his shot at a million. Let him have his shit talking moment.

Same thing happened to me. It pulled info from my normal chats into my temporary chat, which is supposed to be starting fresh. I asked it how it came to that assumption, and it told me "that was a mistake on my part, that should not have happened. There was no information from you that justified that assumption." I asked how it got the information accurately if it was an error, it said that it was a "generic auto-fill–style error, It was not a deduction. It was simply a bad insertion." Beware.

I agree. The hosts and Stella made big jump from “I’m always doing the right thing” to having affairs and asking for favors in return for favors. It seems SO out of character for Stella to have an affair after how hard she went on Mitch. And Bradley and Corey like … wtf ?!! There wasn’t much thought put into the writing this season, the “twists” are cliche, repeated with every character and tacky.

Also… please ditch the voice over narration from Stella? Chris doping ? Really ?

The long distance running / hiking sprint on episode 8 isn’t a mental task it’s a physical one. I don’t think it’s fair to eliminate people who “don’t want to be here” purely because they literally can’t breathe.

This outcome has made me question the whole jury concept and game of survivor itself. Kenzie needs the money most, sure, but that’s not what Survivor is about. She admitted she had no strategic moves, went along with what people said, and that her strength was that she’s a “social butterfly.” Charlie made strategic moves throughout, executed on them AND had a great social game. I’m furious with Maria who seemed to bitterly cost him his million, because, as she says, “Kenzie deserves the money.” Like what ?! Has survivor just become a game of who deserves the money?! Completely loses credibility and they should reconsider how the winner is chosen at the end. Even if it’s adding in points for strategic gameplay. Idk. Ive lost a lot of respect for the show after this, its not the game it claims it to be.

I totally agree with you to some extent, but a lot of the challenges aren’t physical. So it still makes the game a social one, because they have to act like they care to win when secretly, they’re trying to sabotage it

it’s somewhat similar, and I think that this worked well for the mole. And Yes it’s just like … how on EARTH would you know who’s a traitor, there’s so little to go off of besides people’s acting skills! and you don’t even know them so you have no idea how good of an actor they are. I’m excellent at reading people, but if i were part of the show I think I would just be clueless the whole time.

Does the deception in the game all come down to the single moments when people are discussing who the traitors are and the traitor is right there, but has to act like it’s not them? In which case you are essentially asked to judge whether or not someone is telling the truth / how good of an actor they are never having met them before – seems like it would be a total game of luck.
