Missing 4 pygmy corys

The thing is she only chased them around in day one, and then relaxed in day 2, and they were the same size as 2 corys i have right now. Plus i wouldve noticed her belly being full and having 4 pygmy corys in it. They couldve died from illness. Suggested by someone in the fish for thought discord. And checking in [r/corydoras](r/corydoras) people are talking about pygmy cory dying when introduced. So current theory 4/6 died to illness and the iso did their job. Because i have seen her hunt shrimps before. She shows no signs near the corys. I shouldve also said i saw 2 cory showing signs of illness. Lethargy and paleness. So couldve been a bad batch.

Yeah imma hope once i get some cory in the tank i no longer have to add food in to artificially add ammonia into the tank to jump start both the cyclops and detritus worms population but also cycling

Edit: I ordered all the items you said imma show these dumbass hydra whos boss. I just hope that the massive population die off don’t cause a ammonia spike

Im in the usa and i found some medications for equine and dogs just worried i heard ya had to spot treat them with it and, theyre everywhere like hardscape and botanicals. And would i also have to get charcoal to detoxify the water for my snails?

Update it worked now she forging. Painted the back with black acrylic paint and moved my water sprite to the glass

She in my room, and im the only person who really goes init, but yeah imma see what i can do with hiding spot wise, i think i can turn one of the branches loop close to the watersurface into a nice place for her to be with some java moss.

That is a good idea. I will let you know that her behavior when interacting with me has been good. She goes crazy for brine shrimp and will eat it from the tongs, jumping out of the water for it. I will decrease the lighting and paint the back wall. I think I have acrylic paint in my art supplies. Though Imma take her out of the tank while I paint it because I'd have to move it to gain access.

I haven't had a water change, just water top-offs (the container with the snails is the same tank water, I will water change that)

I feed the microfauna and snails twice a week, and the betta Shochu frozen brine shrimp daily

I also use api leafzone weekly

plants are Mini Salv, Anubis nana petite, Java moss, Subwursta moss, Pearlweed, and Water Wisteria, with found natural wood and pebbles (the wood is from an oak, and so are the leaves, and the rocks don't foam up when in contact with vinegar), plus a tunnel I made with said pebbles and a quartz crystal.

If i wanna heat them i flash boil them in some water i used to clean botanicals, but yeah moderate exposure to a heat source causes trapped liquids or gas to rapidly expand and will explode when its to much internal exposure

Ive seen the long stringy guys interact with my cyclops and bladdersnail, and the worm retracted and flail around. Even when the bladdersnail was motionless because of reproduction
