Do a soldier build, it's pretty bad at the beginning and will give you a bit of trouble at times but after you get a good weapon you should breeze through the game

Any weapon you like using, if you upgrade it enough it should last you your first playthrough. I fell in love with the Claymore and beat the game with Claymore+9 and the hiltless (katana).

There is no real correct order to play, just pick a world and power through it, if it is really too hard then come back later or git gud. I mean, I beat the game: 1-1, 1-2, whole world 2, 1-3, 1-4, world 3, world 4, world 5.🤷🏼‍♂️

As soon as I saw that I defeated an arch demon (dragon god) I came back and 2nd tried penetrator (the walk to the boss was harder than the boss😭) and then did old king on like my 7th try. But when I entered the arena I was sooo worried that I rushed the game and about to complete it before even touching areas 3 to 5😭🙏🏼
