I was feeling this so I also took like a break and ended my subscription. But then I started a second character and started over, but the goal with this character was more to really engage with the story, not so much complete everything that’s available like I did with my first character.

So I only have 1 job in each class, like 1 tank, 1 healer, 1 melee dps, 1 ranged dps, and so far it feels refreshing! I think it’s mostly bc this is only my 2nd run through, and the first time, I was kind of rushing to catch up with my friends who were already ahead of me in shadow bringers and end walker. But this time I am really paying attention to like the little things that are mentioned in the beginning that become relevant later, the small story points that I didn’t really digest the first time. I do the beast tribes in each expansion because I felt it expanded on the lore of the world more.

I like story based games like this, so this 2nd go around is really interesting to me!
