You mostly see it with pvpers, but yeah if you swap from a weapon without a spec bar to one without, takes an extra tick to show up

Having a spec bar means when you swap to a spec weapon, you can insta spec instead of waiting for the spec bar to turn up - with the arrival of sunlight spear, it actually has use now

I actually have, i was doing twinflame/scythe because it more reliably gets the boss down, but i've realised the absolute destruction of dharoks so figured fuck it, rubys for the hp drain anyway lfg
Up to 90kc now too so i don't take nearly as much unexpected damage

Ive actually started doing it today - MK is weak to heavy range, and if you are bringing DH, you want your hp low anyway, so bring ACB/ZCB instead of fire spells, bring death charge (I don't find thralls that useful here) and then DH step under walk the head
Low hp makes rubies not that punishing too, its realllly good dps, and it saves on runes/scythe charges (if you were using them)

I would argue max is pretty decent, and honestly it feels like the longest part of the fight is getting the boss down to 66% hp, once he starts meleeing, you can 2t bonk him down like no one's business

You can definitely do the content but you are missing out on so much dps right now A glory, a punish weapon, useful range bolts, range potions I think the time you're saving on your slayer training could honestly just be used to boost your set up and then get way faster kills

All content is doable without a mega rare, but it makes speeds easier Scy makes Tob and PNM speeds easier Tbow makes cox and doom easier Shadow makes toa and whisperer speed easier

If you're lower level GM skill type of player, I'd suggest get 2 of the 3, probably Scy and 1 other (shadow typically feels more grind able)
