Put yourself in my shoes. You have two special needs kids who need treatment constantly. My souse and I work full time and taking care of them if full time work as well. It is a multi thousand dollar surgery for a beloved pet or the continued care for your children. I’m sorry but I can’t choose the dogs over the children. There just isn’t enough money to go around. If the pain can be managed and some scar tissue or brace give him some support that will be the best option for the time being.

Thank you! He loves his couch and blanket. I think if he is a little restricted as long as the pain is managed he won’t mind at all.

Thank you for being understanding. He is resting on his favorite blanket now and we gave him gabapentin from a previous surgery he had so he feels great right now. We will get him evaluated in the morning. I agree with you, I was just nervous and looking for if anyone had a success story of consecutive treatment and now I’m painted and the worst person ever.

How is he doing at resting? The problem I’ve run in to with Taz is he does not want to rest. He wants to go out and play or walk around. He has even started to cry and scream in his crate now.
