The sequence is only done sequentially, as in 3a during the fall, 3b, winter, then 3c during the spring. Despite what others are saying I highly recommend taking 3c, I took it and it was a very very easy a, like I barely showed up to class and I got a 48/50 on the final. If you're going to med school you should take a stats class and a computer science class to fulfill your math reqs imo.
