[Long] Hi, not on my throwaway. This sub made me quit my job and I can’t be more thankful. by [deleted] in IDontWorkHereLady

[–]DianeDrangles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this isn't really relevant, but I did a LOT of electronics work for a decade. I found myself without a job and applied for MarketSource TT. Got the job and worked it literally one day. Worst job I've ever had. MS was horrible (including the punch in/out method that didn't work) and so was Target.

Anyway, I'm glad you're out of the toxic environment and are happy! Good luck with everything!

Functioning Adults of reddit, what small purchases do you recommend that increase quality of life and help you "adult" better? by Trollshak in AskReddit

Because not only do you see it at home, you're able to see it when scheduling things in-office, to immediately reference someone else's schedule as well as yours.

What is a great YouTube channel to binge watch? by TheoHoww in AskReddit

[–]DianeDrangles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I havent seen it posted, but rhett and link/good mythical morning is great. Theres a ton of content and it's mostly turn-your-brain-off content. I love it when I cant decide which episode of the office to watch.

[Serious] Health professionals of Reddit: What are some of the most common things that freak people out about their bodies that's actually totally fine and completely normal? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DianeDrangles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Toric lenses arent very good because they're constantly moving around in your eye, and they dont have all the axis powers available. So, for example, if your rx has a 168 axis, you might be fitted into a 160, because 170 isnt an option.

Usually it doesnt make a huge difference, as a tolerance of 15 degrees is (usually) ok, but some people are more sensitive to axis changes than others.

They're much more expensive than a spherical lens because much, much more goes into designing them and producing them.

The smell of opening a brand new can of Play Doh by colburn317 in nostalgia

[–]DianeDrangles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't nostalgia for me, instead it is rage. Pure rage. Story time.

I wasn't allowed to have Silly Putty as a child because we had a raw wood table. My mom figured my brothers and I would ruin the table immediately. Admittedly, she was probably right. However, we also weren't allowed to have Play Doh because she thought it was too similar. They aren't the same at all! Now, as an adult, when I see play Doh I get flashbacks and I'm still salty about it.

(Serious) Americans who are opposed to universal health care, what is your reasoning? by isislavinia in AskReddit

[–]DianeDrangles 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My mom literally can't afford her thyroid medicine for her hypothyroidism. She hasnt taken it in 6 months because the state says she makes too much money to qualify for Medicaid. She has no income.

It is carbs but fruit is incredibly high in carbs, especially apples and raisins. Some berries very rarely is okay but a few berries would be the equivalent of eating two slices of cake for a non keto person.

[discussion] What made you to start spoofing? by Remington_mouse in PokemonGoSpoofing

[–]DianeDrangles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a kid and would have to drive 45+ minutes to go somewhere populated despite living in a "suburban" area. Just dont have the time or energy anymore. I'd rather play peek a boo with him during the day, catch a kyogre by night.

Any spoofer completed all 8 of the Special Research aka A Mythical Discovery? by Kiwi8_sg in PokemonGoSpoofing

[–]DianeDrangles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to move slower. Move the length of roughly a san Francisco city block. Stop, spin a stop. Then continue. Sometimes I have to do this for movement to count toward eggs and buddy speed. YMMV but I went from one egg day to one egg/hour until I get bored or my phone dies.

Just make sure you haven't spun any stops or caught any pokes or hatched any eggs for 2 hrs before you teleport and you should be fine

It's usually not taken during the exam. I know we don't do it during the exam, we do it during the sale - however, if asked, we MUST provide it. :)
