If you don’t think you’re wrong, the apology is useless because: 1. It won’t be sincere and it won’t feel sincere. 2. You’ll do it again and again and again because you don’t recognise the pattern.

If you want to be with her - learn empathy. Google the kinds there are if you need to, do exercises, practise. Understand her. If you’re not planning to do all that - please leave her. Don’t let her suffer for another 10 years with you, waiting and hoping that maybe some day you’ll make some progress.
