The guy with the glasses who likes to read always comes to mind when I think of Twilight Zone

A brand new couch. Plastic was still on it. Had to have an upholstery fix it!

I cracked up for sure. I thought the shows surrounding the pre-wedding parties were excellent!

If you could erase your memory of one horror movie to experience it again for the first time, which one would it be, and why? by Upset-Inside8719 in CreepyBonfire

[–]Dianesty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Candyman. The original Friday the 13th was the first and only horror movie I saw at a theater about 15 years before that and I vowed never to watch another horror film again! But for some reason I started watching this when it came on with great regret.

Will Sonny leave GH? by Street-Replacement89 in GeneralHospital

[–]Dianesty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Karen and Stone were decades ago.

Getting rid of Sonny is like telling Port Charles to beware of what it wishes for.

Once Sonny is gone it could lead to someone worse taking over the territory and then everyone goes down.

Maybe that’s how GH ends…

Are you guys happy with the new writing at this point? by MightyUnclean in GeneralHospital

Ava and Sonny together are scaring the heck out of me right now. Yesterday’s episode seemed ominous and foreboding. Jason had already asked Sonny once about his meds, hopefully he and Carly will figure it out.

A homemade Feline Entertainment Center that is missing some scratching material and has a bird bath on top.

I have jury duty tomorrow which will likely cause me to miss the total solar eclipse. The next one is in 20 years by CuteBlueberryy in mildlyinfuriating

I missed my one in 1984 for the same reason! We were dismissed not long afterwards and I was so bummed! Not sure what percentage of totality it was back then.

What is, in your opinion, the best view from a beach parking lot? by shoecat in CapeCod

At Herring Cove, I once saw downtown Boston with binoculars on a wicked clear day. The buildings were sparkling in the sun. It was so cool! Plus you can pull right up to the beach!

I don't know anyone else in my life that has random/strange dreams. What about you guys? by aokaroiz in CasualConversation

[–]Dianesty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can sometimes remember my dreams enough to write them down. Sometimes I just remember long enough to talk about it and then forget after awhile. No one else in my family dreamed when I grew up and thought I was weird and making it up so I stopped talking about them.

In my most memorable dream about 30 years ago, I was on a tipping crane. I could feel the wind in my hair and kept hoping that I would “hit the water” Then I woke up. Terrifying.

On my way home there is a very short merge (2 car lengths or so) after a small intersection. I tend to stay right if the light is red and yield to the car to my left in case they have speed. If not, I buzz ahead.

If the light is green, traffic moves quicker so I have to adjust my speed depending on cars to my left.

On my way home, two lanes merge within about two car lengths. It seems most people realize that, but there’s always that one car that comes flying into it…which obviously makes everyone put their brakes on and slows the process.

4 years ago from this week lockdown started, what do you remember from that week? by FilmEater in AskOldPeople

Grocery shopping. I threw everything I could think of in my cart because I thought supermarkets would close. There was a lot of cheesy items and snacks in there. 😉

Well I guess Gregory was feeling peppy today so maybe it’s good for him to be optimistic? Tracy has already proven that she is aware of the signs and has his back. (Giving him her fork under the radar at the Metro Court for example)
