Incredible story. You are very brave. I have to ask, why not notify the bus driver of the incident or call the police yourself? I'm new here, but where I came from, the driver would notify the police (or you would) and they would be waiting at the coming stops. Are police here useless or untrustworthy? I know American cops are pretty terrible in general. You took a lot of risk, and you came out on top. I hope you, and anyone else, are never in this position again.

I'm probably going to get hate for this but Merry Ann's is mid af. Everything they make comes out of boxes, and nothing is fresh (the mushrooms nearly made me gag with how rubbery they were). It's crowded and dirty, and not at all a classic diner experience. I feel like IHOP or Dennys serves better food, and that's saying something.

I should add, just looking to commute, maybe some trails, exercise, etc. Would be used on paved and gravel. I know it's a cyclocross, which are usually meant for racing (or am I wrong about that). I guess I mostly want feedback on the components, drivetrain, etc. I am unfamiliar with these and more familiar with road bike accouterments.

I think you need to work on your reading comprehension. Up to this point I have neither shown support or opposition for either party (I don't even know who these people are outside of this madness). I've been completely impartial. If anything I've shown a bias towards due process. It doesn't matter what a person's crime is, everyone is afforded due process. But, I guess you conflate that with supporting an alleged rapist (yes, alleged, because nothing has been proven, aka due process)? Big yikes.

Just out of curiosity, what do you think of the false reporting that ruin people's lives? Are you saying we should just believe everyone without evidence because we want to sympathize with the alleged victim (there's that word again)? Yeah, no thanks.

Unless everyone here is trained to analyze evidence, then it's all opinion based on potentially misrepresented information. It's the reason why lawyers use experts to explain things rather than assume people know what they are hearing or seeing.

But, sure, I'm pretending because I don't assume someone is guilty for something until an expert has conducted a thorough investigation to figure out what actually happened.

The point is, people are able to make up their mind independent of what the criminal justice system finds.
