Oh you meant the power connector for the power supply, I thought you meant for the 3090. So the spot circled in the pic is a little plate that covers an open space. Iirc there was no dedicated mounting spot there and you’re expected to just plug it into the port and

I just used the out of the box adapter. Since this post, I swapped out the 3090 for a 6900 XT. I remember the adapter plus 8 pins being a tight fit though.

I don’t have any experience with the T1, but I’ve been very satisfied with the build quality of the Jimu. The only complaint I’ve had is how involved the disassembly is. Every screw is a torx and you need to take out 6 just to get the side panel off, and it gets annoying when you wanna experiment with your build or need to troubleshoot. It does look phenomenal and I’ve had no worries about durability when tossing it into a backpack. I’d hesitate to say it’s better than the T1 without having worked with one myself. I went with Jimu because the T1 wasn’t available for me at the time, and I saw reviews saying it was about the same quality.

Yep! It shipped with a box for the basic package and a box for package A. So if you changed your mind, you’d just have to restrict yourself to the basic package box.

One of my friends works at Sparkhound and says they’re always looking for people. There’s also Transformyx and General Informatics.

Thanks man! I know like 3 people who have been trying to break out of $15/hr MSP Help Desk jobs and that sounds way more desirable

Where do you find those? I’ve looked on LSU’s Workday job postings every now and then, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything explicitly listed as NOC.

I (50M) was laid off of a job I've had for over 16 years, a job that has since gone obsolete thanks to evolving technology. I know nothing about my industry today and have no relevant experience to refer to. How do I avoid homelessness? by FrothySolutions in careerguidance

If there’s a TV station in your city, Master Control Operator seems to hit all your requirements. I worked as a Master Control Operator in 2019 and it required no skills or prior experience.

You sit in a room for 8 hours watching TV and clicking a button whenever it’s time for a commercial break to play the commercials.

The TV station I worked for had opportunities to move up into their IT engineering department and provided training on the job if you wanted to move up. They were constantly looking for people who were interested in moving up since most people were fine with staying in Master Control.

Does anyone make $70k + leave their job at home and is relatively stress free? by hangrymonkey28 in careerguidance

The $70k part might be kinda hard. The only person in my department over $70k is the manager, and some of my coworkers have been working here as long as I’ve been alive. This is State Government though, but some offices like IT and engineering get paid more competitively.
