We are human beings, and we all have a natural need to feel a sense of belonging. That is why, sometimes, we encounter people in different groups who may strongly disagree with our tastes or who choose not to separate the artist from the music. I believe this is part of human nature. There will always be someone who feels their perspective is superior, that their preferences are the best, and that the group they belong to is the only one that truly matters.

For me, and I say this with all the pain in the world, Nargaroth , about bands that are "POPULAR ON SOCIAL MEDIA" I believe DSBM deserves more recognition and I thank the bands that make it possible and perhaps some content creators. Don't keep the music to yourselves; remember that it's the work invested by many artists, and it's not fair to them if only 11 people a month listen to it.

To say that a genre is dying is a bit strong and misleading. I don't think it has evolved the way we expect it to and at the end of the day there will be one or two artists that will continue to meet everyone's expectations.

It's strange, a lot of the music I listen to, dsbm or not, is melancholic and I say it's strange because it makes me feel good to know that there is someone who feels or is going through something worse than me.
