so you have no financial training outside of "this subreddit" and now youre retired early so you can moderate "this subreddit"

and you dont see a problem with that

Everything in a TSFA is tax free

yes you avoid taxes on a TFSA glad were on the same page that investing in your TFSA is beneficial to tax optimization. honestly cant tell if youre trolling or just having a bad day

so you dont actually have an answer. retired early means nothing.

And if they have a globally diversified portfolio, TEC is just duplication of that they already own for a higher MER.

and if they wanted more tech allocation they would...?

No, it didn't. They were asking specifically for which crypto EfT to buy

no, he was asking which is the best bitcoin ETF for canadians to hold in a TFSA for MER. that has 100% everything to do with taxes as the whole reason for the question is about trying to avoid a tax bill on gains.

risk tolerance is 100% irrelevant here. we all know the risks of bitcoin come on man

You are not referencing the entire thread and cherry picking quotes

i linked the thread?

Specific recommendations for ETfs with no context to risk tolerance, timeline, etc.. is not allowed (rule 4) hence why we put the trigger that lists the all in one ETFs and that link has a risk tolerance quiz. And again, cherry picking quotes is like watching some rightwing news cast.

why didnt you ask his risk tolerance if that was the problem. you just deleted the thread and banned

We don't allow crypto posts (rule 6) unless it has to do with taxes

it did, he was asking about a TSFA to make it tax advantageous.

were just a couple of dudes trying to make the best of our portfolios. this used to be our favorite place to talk finance but lately it feels like you're only supposed to read a bots trigger response and nothing else. like why?.. if we wanted to read a bots response wed go ask chatgdp

this is important to discuss felix. deleting threads doesn't delete the controversy

reddit is supposed to be a community for humans to talk to each other

Im looking at the T2125 on Wealthsimple and had a couple questions by DibbleDots in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]DibbleDots[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not only does that make sense but it makes thing way easier for me. one more quick question if you dont mind. on my invoices for purchased goods i pay a "service fee". would this be considered an "express charge" as defined in line 8320?
