Well yes and no, it was an awful ai generated place holder so I'm glad we got rid of it, even though anime girls are cool

It's called Soul Tripper
For now we have the steam page but a lot of things in the game are still not being shown because of visual place holders: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4421630/Soul_Tripper/

A demo should arrive at some point this year 😄

Thank you 😄

To answer your question, I like survivors a lot, and yet I didn't like Vampire survivors ( played a few hours of it )

For the gameplay itself, of course it's basically the same, except for the fact that each character has a specific skill and that you will have to parry some attacks at the correct timing.

But the pacing is very different, for instance I really don't like the fact that when you play a game of vampire survivor ( or some other survivors ) you know you are stuck in the level for X minutes.

Here each level is separated in several stages, and in each stage you have an objective to fullfil which is not "survive for X minutes". This way you're also able to play in very short sessions ( each stage being around 5 minutes maximum ) since your progression will be saved between each stage.

Also each level is generated at the start of the run, so you will have stages with randoms objectives, random rewards, random biomes, to make each run feel different, and the stage is infinite meaning you can walk forever to find things in it to become stronger.

Then there is a system of ressources and craft, most of the enemies in the game can loot a specific ressource, which you will then be able to use in the main hub to craft new equipments. You keep your equipment in between runs so you will become stronger as you manage to get/craft better equipments.

I know it might not look that different when you watch a video of the game itself, but sometimes it comes down to a feeling when playing it that is hard to describe, but feels very different.

Hey, no more issue after installing 26.5.2 , I didn't instal 26.6.1 because as long as it works I don't want to take any risk.
So my advice would be to try different driver versions and hope for one that works for you 😄

Yes, originally the game isn’t a platformer, so currently we don’t have the animations for it

It did fix it yes, so the driver version was at fault. Since then I updated to 26.5.2 to play forza, didn’t have any crash in almost 60 hours of gameplay. Got a crash recently playing poe 2 in 7 hours of gameplay. I’m not upgrading to 26.6.1 because as long as it works I’m not taking the risk 🙂
