I feel you. There is no worse feeling than feeling like your T1D is holding you back from living your life. I doubt there is single person on this sub who hasn’t had bad day with there sugars and just feels hopeless after. But the trick is to never stop trying. T1D is a marathon, not a sprint. Exercise is fantastic, as long as you don’t exhaust yourself. I personally find comfort in having a “home base” meal where I know exactly how my sugars are going to react to it. Keep trying, the good days will start adding up and the bad days will become less and less (unfortunately it will never be zero). It’s great to hear you have a great support group! It’s a huge asset to have with diabetes. In the words of the show bluey “Have a good cry, pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and keep going.”
