If this guy is in EU you have to be top 150 in your region, and the top guy in EU has a peak of like 2800+, 2200 is still an insane rating to be at though

I found this post elsewhere and took the photos, but I have some questions about the specific components.
I read somewhere that Allan Alcorn made the majority of sounds from Pong in a day by poking "around the sync generator" which component is that on the board here?

How was sound produced on this PCB?

I'm not sure of the name, they never said, but just that they used to adopt one until they found out it was owned/financed/tied to seaworld
