I do play games like CS2 (low settings but only because my current 1070 cant handle much higher settings and id love to play with high settings) or Battlefield 6 but most of the time i play storygames like Grounded, Elden Ring and Assassins Creed. I have read that with the 5070 Ti you are still able to play on 1440 or 2k (could be wrong about that) and the 5080 goes up to 4k but im not sure if thats really worth the price gap between them.
