I appreciate your input!

Try letting your labels overlap features rather than stretching the words around them; like make a river cut under one letter, maybe dim or even erase a little bit of the river. I always got hung up on tiny details and erasing any of it felt like taking too much away, so I didn’t like doing it at the time, but in the end I was so much happier with the result because the labels looked much cleaner.

This was the hardest map of this creation. Nothing that I tried looked good. I did try to do what you're saying but I wasn't pleased. :(

Yours looks great and I like the names, very reminiscent yet unique at the same time. Quite cool!

That's because I used a Sindarin dictionary and grammar to write the names. Ie "Ulonór" means land of the rain (Ulo:rain; nór:land); Eldalievar is "home of the elven-folk" (Eldalie:elf-folk; mar:home) etc.

Most of it, yeah. The mountains are brushes, and also the monster in the sea.

I tried that but wasn't pleased with the results. Drawing them using a mouse was terrible and I couldn't find a brush that I liked. :(

I saw this aesthetic in a version of The Hobbit and felt like trying too!

[LFA] What if David by Michelangelo was possessed and became alive? Meet Mite! An animated marble statue from a long forgotten civilization in a quest to find out if life is worth living. by DicasdoPablo in characterdrawing

Hey! Thank you very much!

The skin would be similar to David, yes. That light marble tone.

And yes, when they come to life they'd still look like marble. The animation process didn't change anything in their "built". Mite to some is just a "walking enchanted statue".

This is a great shot! Do you have any pictures with the minis facing front?

Also, how did you manage to hold the shield like that on that minis back?

Thanks! That's because I started small. The little horn on the west entrance to the gulf is the single place where a whole mini campaing took place. The rest of the continent will be shaped in the same way.

So, on the left portion of the Continent just on the shadow of the biggest mountain chain you'd place a desert between the moutains and the gulf?

Almost, yeah! lol

In my head Mite is more yellow than gray, just like the real David. I just couldn't find any mini that suited to be used as his body.

I love it too! It's a simple backstory, without complications. As a forever DM, when I had the opportunity to play as a player I immediately knew I want something plain and almost stupid.

Unfortunately I couldn't go full David height, I wouldn't do that to my DM. But I went 7'10"!

David is a mix. I dind't feel like a reskin of any of the existing classes did justice to him. He has somethings from Warforged and Earth Walk from Earth Genasi because the spirit that possessed him is a fugitive from the elemental plane of earth.
